ABOUT US
Constantly growing demand of cement products in Al Ain region was a starting point for setting up Mehrab factory back in 2007.
Being equipped with up-to-date machinery, extensive vehicle park and computerized manufacturing process makes Mehrab factory a reputable supplier of cement blocks all over the UAE.
Competitive advantages of Mehrab are low price for cement blocks and quality control on each level. We use only raw materials approved by Al Ain Municipality, making test of each batch for standard check and having HSE personnel on site.
Mehrab Factory manufactures hollow and solid blocks of different dimensions. In our assortment is also interlock of uniblock, square and rectangular.
The common size of concrete blocks is 40 cm x 20 cm x (30 cm or 20 cm or 10cm) or 4 inch, 6 inch, and 8 inch unit configurations. The cement-aggregate ratio in concrete blocks is 1:6. Aggregate used is of 60% fine aggregate and 40% coarse aggregate. Their Minimum strength is about 3N/mm2. ASTM C-90-91 specifies the compressive strength requirements of concrete masonry units.

OUR PRODUCTS
Hollow blocks
Main hollow blocks application is interior use due to its high fire rating and good sound absorbing properties. Thru hollow cores provide space for reinforcement bars, water pipes and electrical wires. 3 available sizes of hollow blocks: 4 inch, 6 inch and 8 inch. Concrete density for normal weight blocks is 2150 kg/m3 and concrete density for light-weight concrete blocks is 1100 kg/m3.
Solid blocks
Concrete masonry solid blocks are manufactured with 2150 kg/m3 density for normal weight blocks. Solid blocks are commonly used for the base and solid foundation. Its durability provides ideal standard structural load for construction. Available solid block size is 200 x 200 x 400.
Interlog
Most commonly used paving and landscaping material available to serve multiple applications. It serves commercial (streets, parking areas, loading docks, shopping malls), residential (walkways, patios and driveways) and industrial purposes. We provide different designs, textures and colors to meet the needs of each project.
